About Yesse Rodriguez
A lifetime of Acting & Modeling
Yesse began her acting career as a child in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While in high school, she studied Opera and Jazz and also took part with Strive Media Institute, a non-profit organization that helped her learn the in's and out of TV and production. Yesse became a talent and reporter for Gumbo Television through Strive and in 2003, Yesse along with the other talented teens of Gumbo Television were nominated for a regional Emmy in Chicago, IL (2003-2004) for Outstanding Achievement for Children’s Programming – Children’s or Teen Series. (Award to the Producer/Host/Reporter). Amongst the nominees were Stacy Barton, Producer; Yessenia Rodriguez, Lynn Grochowski, Ramona Hammonds, Ishmel Sahid, Hosts/Reporters; Autherine Ikanih, Kyle Markham, Hosts; Lemonica Jimenez, Christina Balistreri, Martania Davis, Leon Orange, Denise Seehawer, LeVar Pickens, Reporters. After high school, Yesse relocated to North Carolina where she continued her career in Acting and Modeling.
Yesse took countless acting classes and seminars to enhance her craft and become a better performer.
In 2014, Yesse had the opportunity to work alongside Kevin Hart and Ice Cube in the Film Ride Along 2. In 2018, Yesse produced her own web based bilingual talk show series called Hoy En Dia TV.
In the Spring of 2021, Yesse Rodriguez Wrote, Produced, & Directed her first short film titled The Judgment.
She is currently working on and developing additional short and feature film projects.
Yesse began her modeling career in Milwaukee, WI where she first participated in a local fashion show. She would periodically participate in photoshoots, lifestyle shoots and fashion shows. In 2013, after moving to North Carolina, Yesse had the opportunity to participate in the Miss NC USA 2013 Beauty Pageant as Miss Research Triangle. Yesse went along to participate in Fashion shows with Tim Johnson, Women's Empowerment Fashion expo, Nuestra Belleza Carolina with Susie De Lo Santos, Birds of Paradise with Nora Hernandez, Belk Fashion Show and Vogue Supermodel Bling Competition with Katherine Neal to name a few.
Yesse has also worked with many amazing photographers within NC and across the USA and has modeled for many great designers.
